To know more, please visit www.unicornsforgood.com Role Introduction: SIP is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team with a focus on generating high returns to people, planet and profits. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our business while also advancing the social well-being of the communities we serve. The BDM is one who has an entrepreneurial spirit, resourceful, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity, as we strive to be the innovators and first movers in our field. We are looking for highly motivated and passionate self-drivers, who can work independently and work well in teams. The BDM will work closely with other teams to identify rewarding business opportunities and create innovative solutions that stimulate beneficial economic and social impact. BDM will also build meaningful partnerships across People, Private and Public (3Ps) Sector, and create the network and community for further leads. This entails developing strategies for engaging prospects and crafting proposals to develop a healthy pipeline. The BDM shall promote SIP’s agenda to enhance, empower and educate changemakers to build a more inclusive, sustainable and mindful world, by bringing about social innovation through cross-sector and high impact collaborations with your contribution. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategy-based lead generation, generating sales for SIP Academy Work on innovation, market development, and product development, focusing on value creation. 2. Manage a methodologically directed pipeline to ensure steady revenue expansion while attaining positive social impact. 3. Undertake thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends within the market. 4. Innovate new products that serve the diverse different markets while promoting social impact. 5. Develop and sustain strong connections and partnerships with pivotal stakeholders in the community, such as collaborators, clients, and industry leaders. 6. Prepare prospect engagement strategies and proposals, negotiate agreements, programme design and implementation, and post-closing follow-ups. 7. Source for and manage relevant grants. Monitor and report on key performance metrics to track progress towards goals, including social impact metrics. Preferred Requirements & Experience The successful candidate will have: 1. Strong entrepreneurial mindset and spirit: creative, resourceful and willing to go above and beyond to achieve goals 2. At least 3-5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development Excellent strategic and analytical acumen with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset; a natural problem solver. 3. Strong motivation, drive, energy and ambition to achieve revenue and social impact growth. 4. Flexibility and adaptability, with strong inclination for driving growth through innovative thinking. 5. Ability to build strong relationships and networks with all stakeholders. 6. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven track record of success in developing and executing business strategies that contribute to strong financial and social impact. 7. In-depth comprehension of market research and analysis, with particular emphasis on opportunity identification. 8. Ability to perform in a fast-paced setting and oversee multiple projects concurrently. 9. Passion for creating positive social impact. Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
