Toolkit for Social Entrepreneurs and Social Enterprises
Social Innovation Park pioneered in creating the first Toolkit for social entrepreneurs in Singapore by partnering with PricewaterhouseCoopers and DBS Bank to create it.
The tool kit is designed to provide you the foundation and key principles necessary for creating your own social enterprise
in Singapore.
It aims to remove of some of the stress and confusion involved in establishing a social enterprise, enabling you to leapfrog past some of the traditional hurdles that social entrepreneurs face when building a social enterprise.
The contents are divided into two primary sections as follows:
Section 1: Starting and Managing a Social Enterprise
(Developed in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers)
Section 2: Financing and Managing Liquidity
(Developed in collaboration with DBS Bank)
The updated cash management link on page 69 is: http://www.dbs.com/sg/business/cashmanagement/default.aspx
The Toolkit is designed to be read straight through; however it can also be used as a reference guide for when you have specific questions.
Please contact us if you have any questions,
comments, or concerns.
We’re especially interested in improving the content and design, so if you are keen to work on the next version
we’d love to have your support!
The “Top 50 Social Innovations Changing Our World” book is a ground up initiative by SIP. The book documents policy and social innovations that have transformed Singapore from third world to first.
Essentially, it aims to push the envelope to encourage readers to
rethink socio-economic and political policies and frameworks
in a fast-changing world and their rules of engagement.
“…The world is being redefined by Social Innovations & Innovators – thanks to meeting of the rise of the 4th Industrial Revolution
